The Long Island Foundation for Education & Sports is pleased to provide the Town of Brookhaven with a youth Street Hockey program. We offer four street hockey sessions for boys and girls ages 5-13 of all abilities. Our expert instructor will introduce the fundamentals of street hockey, stick handling, passing, shooting and scoring. Advanced players are challenged with a variety of fun drills and games designed to improve their skills and prepare them for league competition. This program enables the game of hockey to reach children who never played hockey and want to try it for the first time. Each class will consist of instruction and team play. Each child must bring a hockey stick, wear sneakers, bring a mouth guard and eye protection to each class. Each week children will participate in a program with instruction and team play (based on enrollment).
