The Long Island Foundation for Education & Sports (LIFFES) was founded in 1998 with a grant from the United States Tennis Association to build tennis communities in our parks and schools across Long Island. Today, we are an organization of community based tennis, golf and after school programs dedicated to developing character in our youth on Long Island. We provide sports programs in schools, parks and indoor facilities serving over 4,000 children and adults.

By 2005, school and community leaders were looking for extended sports programs. With this in mind, LIFFES partnered with the United States Tennis Association, PGA & First Tee of Suffolk County and expanded our programming for ages 4yrs-adult. Today, we partner with experts in tennis and golf to provide outstanding programs & staff.
